The weather was overcast and a bit rainy this morning so we walked around the lake at Grasmere and took advantage of the excellent teas and cake at the Faery Tearooms - following the trail blazed by Nadine Pierce last week

Fortified by large quantities of cake, we walked to Alcock Tarn. The weather had cleared up by this time and there were fantastic views across to Windermere and Grasmere
