Evening Anenomie

Met my friend in Leeds fora drink bite to eat and even though l hadn't gone to buy anything l somehow managed to purchase a new shirt, pyjamas, cake forks and beer glasses.
From Leeds l caught the train to Halifax where Mr P met me at the station after driving over, we then carried on to Luddenden Foot to take my D in L's birthday present: which was in the back of the car: two tall garden planters which l had bought and filled for her. I think she would be the first to admit she is not a gardener and she asked if l would do this for her. They looked lovely and she was very pleased .
Lovely to see Freddy and Ben, our Grandsons, come home from school, something we don't have chance to do very often these days.
Home now and suddenly realised l hadn't taken a photograph all day as l've been camera free. So I've just gone into the garden and taken this little beauty. This is the first year l've ever grown anemonies and l planted the bulbs very late, a bargain buy, as they were greatly reduced in price.
They've come up trumps and even though this one is slightly past its best l liked how the petals looked like a swirling skirt.
Seems strange to have no sport to watch on TV!
