Fewston Parish Church

This little church lies just to the north of Swinsty and Fewston reservoirs in the Washburn valley.
Adjacent to it is the Washburn Heritage Centre and tea room. We had hoped to take refuge in here from the showers. Unfortunately, we overlooked the fact that the tea room is open only at weekends as it is run by volunteers.
The little Church is set in very peaceful surroundings. Its graveyard looks a little in need of some TLC, although I felt the neglected and overgrown grass added to the peaceful atmosphere of the place.
