Follow the yellow brick road

Started our walk in light drizzle and ended it in bright sunshine. Guess who didn't have a hat. 

Tennis was good to watch yesterday, football less so. I struggled to stay awake for extra time to be honest but just about made it.

Received some pictures from Matthew yesterday. He and some friends have hired a 42' yacht for 5 days and are sailing in the Med. He has no formal sailing qualifications so has taken on the role of Roger the Cabin Boy. I asked if that meant that he had to clean the poop deck to which I got the reply 'the toilet discharges directly into the sea which is not an issue when sailing but can be a problem if someone uses the toilet when the yacht is docked in harbour as happened yesterday, when they were all (well bar one obviously) swimming off the side of the yacht when a brown cloud of shredded shit was spat out from their boat'. Nice.
