Serious about Lavender

There was a Lavender Festive today at a farm very near my house so we went out this afternoon. People could cut a bunch of lavender for $5 and this lady was very excited to get as much as possible. I liked that she was dressed for the occasion.....Do you think purple is her favorite color?  

Extra shows our local eagle. Remember that the eagle nest near me fell with the young bird in it, we heard she was on the ground and was healthy, but I haven't seen the parents for several days, BUT today I saw both parents sitting near where she fell and heard that Dad had taken food down for the baby earlier. So, it seems that she is still doing okay. I am not so sure about Dad....look at the extra shot...he was falling asleep on the branch! Very funny for the middle of the day. He must have had night duty last night watching over the baby.  :-))
