One Careful Owner.
The next stage in the mileage build-up was wet and windy but passed without major incident. The minor incident was being completely lost in what used to be the Whitecross Industry Park just outside Linlithgow but which, despite the information on Google Maps, is completely derelict. The only building that remains standing is the fifteenth century Almond Castle (formerly, Haining Castle). The route I was following could be from a couple of years ago when there might have been a way through, what little information I could find says that Royal Mail discontinued the post-code ten months ago. At least I found a satisfactory Derelict Sunday Blip.
A few miles later, I passed the now defunct Longannet Power Station which ceased operating in March and would also qualify for the challenge; it is now following in the footsteps of Cockenzie, whose demise has been recorded by numerous blippers, aand is my extra for today.
Derelict Sunday is hosted by Janethh this week and has the theme, “Technology.”
