Clematis Flower

A damp and mucky day. I go for a morning bike ride to Middleton and Gladhouse as its not supposed to rain until the afternoon. As I head out of Bonnyrigg, the rain starts and is quite persistent. I shelter under a tree for a while to get my act together and continue on to Middleton. I cycle back around Gladhouse. It is so damp, I could be cycling through Gladhouse. The ride is a bit disappointing.

I take this picture of one of the last few Clematis flowers when I get back to the house, and after a shower. A quiet afternoon.
