The Newcomer...

... has been calling in again, I've seen him a few times over the last few days, and luckily I was able to capture him today before we went off to Manchester.  We had a very quick look at the shops and then we went for a meal at the St Carlo restaurant which just happens to be opposite my favourite store.  It wasn't busy today, either on the motorway or in town; there seems to be a general mood of despondency around, and I just hope once we get a new Prime Minister that people and the whole political situation will begin to buck up.  We're back home again now of course, and looking out of the window it's raining once again -  still, I'm hoping tomorrow will be better.
