Tide Mill

I had a really lovely relaxing day. I spent the day over at my Mum's doing some gardening, watching the Olympics and F1, and lounging about. We went to visit Thorrington Tide Mill as it was having one of it's monthly open days. It was pretty interesting to see inside the Mill, though our guide was a bit useless.

We also had our first BBQ of the year, which rain forced indoors. It felt really strange and sad to be doing a BBQ without Dad- he was always the overseer of the flipping and it was so easy to imagine him there in the garden. The little things or moments that really slam home the overwhelming loss are completely unpredictable.
