Medley

This is my youngest refuelling during the Meadows Big Park 4 x Apparatus Unofficial Individual Medley*. Beneath a threatening sky that sure wasn't there when we set out on our afternoon family trip. Tourists arriving in town this week for the various festivals, this is normal, you'd better get used to it.

Bumped into some pals who were playing tennis and I got a chance to knock around with their nine-year-old son. I used to be a reasonably decent player in my younger days so I thought I'd go easy on him and not bring my famous (in my own mind at least) two-handed backhand into play. I should probably have concentrated on actually getting the ball over the net a bit more. Not very good. At all. But I was barefoot, that's my excuse.

Right, bit of music to close. Nowt to do with nowt again. I just had it on the ipod on the way back from swimming. From a favourite album of 2012 so far.


*Unfortunately she was later disqualified after testing positive for Ribena. We've got our appeal in tho'. Fingers crossed.
