A summer's day in Geneva

A delightful day off in Geneva. First a few of us walked to the closest French supermarket to buy some provisions (prices are considerably lower in France than Switzerland). We then met up to go to Lac Leman for a leisurely swim/picnic. Thankfully we managed to find a shady spot as the sun was fierce. Late in the afternoon we walked over the natural history museum to visit the Nuit de Science - basically a science fair in a beautiful park on the lake. We also had some dinner there and then slowly made our way back to CERN to finish this relaxing day with a few rounds of Uno.
