Pool Party!

This evening we stopped off by Stirling Castle again. It's getting to be quite addictive, this cattle watching. I occasionally wonder if the cattle recognise us but then I don't know if they can even see us through all that hair.
Most of them were in the pond today and the duckling family were paddling around with them. Maybe the hooves stir up edible goodies? At one point, a cow got a bit too interested in the ducklings but they deployed their secret escape procedure - the super high speed paddle, looks as if they have a tiny outboard motor! Very funny and cute to watch.
Judging by the number of people stopping to watch, Stirling Council could make a quid or two by charging for photos. Just don't tell them I said that, they might get ideas!
