It was raining. July? It's not supposed to be raining! Mind you, St Swithin's Day brought rain so it should be no surprise that there has been no shortage of rain lately.

The rain matched my mood. Then I spotted a beautiful rainbow. They always make me smile as I like to think of them as a 'sign'. A sign that there is always something brighter around the corner.

The rain stopped and I took the opportunity to take a photo of these flowers on the way home. I think they are foxgloves but not sure.

Fingers crossed that August brings at least a couple of days of sunshine.

A flower cannot blossom without sunshine, and man cannot live without love.
