Jam Boy

Drove into the entry where the fish shop is this morning and all the staff were outside and then two fire engines drove in. Seems like one of the ladies burnt the toast! All was well and was soon back in. The bread shop is next door so that was purchased too.

Ben loves my mum's home made strawberry jam on fresh bread and this is him eating his second load ! Mmmmm.

Ben got an a £10 book token at the prize giving at the church for always being so well behaved at school and always trying his hardest at doing his work. Three others in the class got one too. One of the girls in his class mum was moaning that it wasn't fair on the other children not getting one as the school is sending a message that they aren't doing as well. My daughter said to her that it's the same all the way up to secondary she will need to learn to cope with it!

Why do some parents try to Molly coddle their kids? Life is full of hard knocks at times and the sooner children realise that the better they are at dealing with it. Nothing wrong with a bit of competition.
