Ouch!

Leo asked if my blip today could be of his injury - so here you have it - egghead Leo! When I got home and my mum said Leo had a bit of a bump on his head I assumed he had experienced a problem or two in the obstacle course at the county sports event. It turn out that went fine. He earned this one playing wth his friends next door. He was bouncing away on their trampoline when the youngest hurled a stone (Leo says rock!) in through the trampoline netting and it clonked Leo on the head! The youngest is only two so he must have quite an arm on him! Poor Leo and poor little Harley who mum says was looking just as upset as Leo in case he got into loads of trouble. I think he has learned that throwing stones around people has consequences! He is such a sweet little boy and Leo has a real soft spot for him - and now a soft spot on his head too!

Nothing can dim the smile on Leo's face for long though as he is super excited that we are shopping on Saturday for an iPOD for his birthday. He had to choose between a new bike and the iPOD and the IPOD won. He says he will have the bike for Christmas - cheeky thing! I suggested a new bike might be better as summer is coming so he could have more fun on that during the school holidays than during the rubbish weather at Christmas. But the fact he has a bike, even if he is too tall for it now, means that there was no competition when it came to the IPOD. He'll have to continue playing dodge the handlebars with his knees a bit longer :)
