Feed Us!

I could hear chirping this morning and looked out to see Mr & Mrs American Goldfinch, not too pleased that their favourite feeder was out of seed!  Filled it right away, and then watched two pairs feeding non-stop for quite some time...with a few squabbles and a male Cardinal taking a couple of turns.  By the way, the feeder was a present from my son several years ago, and it is in terrible condition but the birds still love it!  ; )

Another hot day and now we are getting a fantastic thunder and lightning storm, complete with heavy, much needed rain!  

A week from right now, I will be taking off on my holiday....
