Day 190 of 366 - Growing out of the Lake!
Today's image was taken at the edge of the village of Astley. It is a view of a Tree that is growing out of the middle of Astley Pool. This lake is man made and was said to have been created in the 16th Century as a Fish pool. This would have provided food for the local Castle. I liked the look of the tree growing out of the centre of the lake.
The photo was taken using the app ExposerGL on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Snapseed to edit the photo. I cropped and straightened the image then added both the Tonal Contrast and HDR Scape filters. I also boosted the saturation, ambiance and local contrast. After this I used the app Brushstroke to add the Gloss G2 painterly preset. I finally used the app Laminar Pro to apply a Polarizer filter and the Snap Stack frame.
