Cake!!!

My amazing Mum made this sponge just for me, just because. Knowing it was there to come home to kept me going all day, and then after school I received a lovely email from my head saying how 'superb' my reports were. All in all a pretty good day!

Oh, and I had a fab moment in class when teaching the children about electricity. We'd been having a general 'what do you know' session and one of my little scientists pipes up that 'when people have to go up the electricity towers, they wear special suits called Faraday cages'. Well, I'd never heard of this, but with the Faraday bit making it sound plausible, I immediately investigated it online. He directed me to a children's science program which we all watched, and... learnt all about Faraday cages! Just brilliant!!!
