Dahlia with a twist of Color

Went to take a bunch of colorful flowers when this butterfly landed right in front of me.  Flower with a twist of color!!!
Not as sharp as I would like.  Setting is automatic and all my recent  photos at all ranges seem seem to  have a bit of blur.  Could something be off with my NEW camera?  Pictures were better when I first got it.  Any suggestions.
