Gravel roads

Gravel roads are my third least liked things when cycling, only marginally better than wind and rain. When I first encountered this I was not amused, but after a bit I realised that even Norwegian gravel roads seem to be incredibly smooth, perhaps even more so than the average road in Britain! I've now cycled about 20km on these gravel roads and not a single puncture to report!
