A Flower for Yogi

Our beautiful cat Yogi had been in the vet hospital since Monday. He couldn't be persuaded to eat in all of that time, and was very quiet. Today the biopsy results came back for him with bad news, so we had to take the difficult decision to put him to sleep. The decision was made easier because he was so clearly suffering, but he leaves a big black-cat-shaped hole in our home now.

We'll miss him running to the door to meet us, tail wagging like a dog. We'll miss him waking us up at all hours by walking over our heads. We'll miss his gorgeous face and big, beautiful eyes. We'll miss our fifth family member.
