Sit and Settle

A transgression from normal Friday today I went into work for the morning to cover a colleague who needed to be elsewhere.

So this afternoon after a week of work and busyness I've wasted my time. Wasting time seems much under rated these days. I'm not talking about whiling away on social media, channel hopping, surfing without settling, more just mooching, walking, reading for pleasure, staring into thin air, snoozing. The kind of wasting that is restoring.

I'm teaching Sonny to sit and settle, perhaps I should teach myself to do it more.
