Flower Friday: Bougainvillea #2

Met up with friend Marja for lunch today... she's got a big birthday coming up mid-week and won't be in Dubai for it, so it was great to catch up and hear about her Maldives holiday and also have some cake!

Walked through Wafi's underground souk - Khan Murjan afterwards. What makes it great is it is air-conditioned! They do have some very cool things on sale... and we were able to buy her a pressie which she can use for work.

Came to the end of the Doc Martin series we've been enjoying courtesy of Netflix. So sad it's ended. G has found a very interesting documentary called The Code which is about how Maths is found everywhere in our world. Totally fascinating.

Oh, my blip is of the bougainvillea growing over Marja's front gate. [G took the pic for me]. As you can see, we had a blue sky! :)
