Juvenile Red-wattled Lapwing
This juvenile Red-wattled Lapwing is the same bird I photographed back on May 8th! Look how grown up she is now. No deep blacks, reds or bright yellows yet of the adult bird, but nearly there, no red eyes have developed yet either. It is lovely to see that this bird is safe and well and totally independent from her parents. Still incredibly hot here, but it is lovely to mount my Sigma('Bigma' as it has been called by fellow birders!) back on my camera! Thank you for your interest in my flowers of Oman.
