Skye has wind and fast flowing water and wood and a suprising amount of sunshine and we rely almost entirely on electricity being imported along these strings in the sky.
Today was wonderful. Warm and aromatic. Early afternoon and there was a very light breeze carrying the scent of fresh laundry. So many people had their washing on the line.
Those strings in the sky allow the council to hide the stars from us with street lights so tonight I am going away out of Portree just to see stars - yeah!
