Flash flood...

We had glorious weather except for the friday afternoon. Thunder started to roll, lightening flashed and as we arrived back at the gite the heavens opened. The rain came down in sheets!! In the village manhole covers were lifting and in the large supermarket buckets were being placed by the tills as the roof was leaking. This the view from the door of the gite. The yard was running with water in no time! This went on for a few hours but it cleared the air!
