1095
3 years. 1,095 days. 1 gap. But, this being a leap year, my anniversary date is preserved. It's almost like it was planned. The gap will haunt me forever, since the stats tell me when my last gap was, but over three years to miss a day you slept through doped up on paracetamol and ibuprofen isn't bad.
Some days, you just know when you've got your blip. If you're lucky, it's when you've got a great picture. Other days, you just know that it's your blip regardless of focus, grain or composition. Today is one of those days. I met up with Tracy for dinner after work, for the last supper before we packed up her flat. On the way out, I said I wanted something with the number 3 or 1,095. When we couldn't think of anything, I decided that when we went into the Keppoch, I was going to order anything from the menu that cost £10.95. You can imagine the smirk on my face when the only thing on the menu at that price was my favourite!
There have been a few favourites to look back on over the last year - the four weddings I went to in August, September, April and May; the introduction of Brian to help me through Winter and the Scotland, The World Over project; family parties like my 30th or Dad's 60th; special events like the Olympics or Forres Mechanics winning the Championship; and great Scottish blips like Eilean Donan and the Highland Cow.
Thanks to all of the ususal suspects for stopping by, commenting and keeping the site running. On to year four, I guess...
