Wired

As a birthday prezzie to myself, I brought an Aerobie coffee press.

It arrived while I was at work, so on the way home I swung by Tesco's to get some grounds to try it out.

It made a real smooth cup of coffee, at first I thought it was lacking in flavor and aroma, but Wendy said she could smell the coffee from upstairs (my sense of smell is always a bit off). I thought the lack of flavor was down to the grounds, but as I drank , it dawned on me that what I was mistaking for flavor in coffee was in fact bitterness.

Coffee should not have a bitter after taste, that's what I was missing, this was smooth. The flavor was subtle, not something I normally associate with coffee.

And it left me totally wired!

Coffee and caffeine drinks don't normally have that effect on me, but 30 mins after I was buzzing!

Looking forward to taking this on holiday so I can have a decent cup of coffee in the morning.
