A lovely day with this one and her sister, involving lunch at the UK's best chippy, a hard-fought make-your-butterscotch-sweetie-last-the-longest competition in the car on the way home (it was eventually declared a three-way draw), and me fulfilling my auntly duty by introducing them to the delights of Gene Kelly and, specifically, Singin' in the Rain (which they, being sensible girls, thoroughly enjoyed). :-)
