Perfect balance

It's been one of those rare days when everything has been fitted in just right.

- A great walk this morning without the rain that we expected and a couple of friendly chats along the way
- Managing to fix the shower hose without having to buy the new one that was in my virtual shopping basket
- Working out how to fix my cupboard door back on that I'd walked into yesterday (which has involved a purchase but only a couple of pounds) 
- Filling up the freezer

And to top it all, a wonderfully peaceful walk at Burnsall this evening with Rich.  

We had the river to ourselves pretty much and had close encounters with baby thrushes, ducklings, grey wagtails, fly catchers and more; watched a kingfisher fly down the river; and finished off with pudding and a drink before heading back home.
