I'd never realised that me quitting my RSRE-supported PhD was the end of LCD research here.  Err... sorry.  Or maybe you also reached the conclusion that, hey guys, this stuff is really not as exciting as we first thought.

This is one of a series of display panels in the centre of Malvern, illustrating the scientific developments here.  We'd taken A in to the priory and I'd gone shopping in the mean time. Curiously, I also passed two commenting on the picture marking the development of "Window" - a radar blocking technique of WW2.  I was able to provide some detail; my first electronics job had been simulating its effect for radar operator training.
