War hero

This is a photograph of my Father which surfaced today. In the last few years of WW2 he was a tail gunner in a Halifax aircraft. He served with 148 squadron, Royal Air Force, and towards the end of the war was stationed in Northern Italy.
He survived the war and lived on until 2015, not quite making his 90th birthday. I am very proud to be his son.
