Christ's College. Third Court.

Christ's college was first established as 'God's House' in 1437 but shortly after receiving it's Royal Licence from Henry VI, it was forced to move  as the site was needed for the King's new project, King's College. It moved to it's present site in St Andrew's Street in1448 and was re-founded as Christ's college by Lady Margaret Beaufort, mother of King Henry VII, in 1505. The buildings seen here of yellow Ketton Stone,.  are newer additions from the 19th and 20th centuries.
