Beating the Big Drum

Actually I'm not beating the drum for The Salvation Army this on this occasion.  I just snapped the drum quickly in the middle of a busy day.  I'm beating the drum for  a wildlife rescue centre, which dare not speak its name for fear of being even more inundated than it is already.  Jonathan Livingston Seagull departed my life, squawking loudly, inside a cardboard box.  They will definitely be getting some donations from me.  I didn't realise that herring gulls are now protected and on the red list.
