Lindisfarne Castle

Lindisfarne Castle is a 16th century castle located on Holy Island, accessible from the mainland at low tide by means of a causeway, so an early start was necessary to give us a good few hours there until early afternoon.

The castle has provided a shooting location for a number of films over the years, incuding Cul-de-Sac; the Tragedy of Macbeth and an episode of the TV Series - Cold Feet.
