Art Deco Days
This is my entry for Abstract Thursday 54. I have zoomed in, up-ended and cropped. See extra for the actual photo.
Yesterday I met up with 'the girls' for a coffee on Worthing pier. The weather was about as lovely as you could ever get, the sun was a perfect temperature, a slight breeze and the sea was calm. We decided to turn coffee into lunch and walked to the end of the pier where there is a lovely restaurant that has been restored to its Art Deco days. We ate at the tables outside, soaking up the sun whilst listening to the sea lapping around the pier.
This photo was taken in the ladies 'powder room' where the mirrors were fabulous. The one over the hand basins was in a large fan shape, and this full length one had all the straight lines and bevels around it. I love this extra shot as it almost gave an infinity angle to it.
