Grapefruit Philosophy

There is just something that resonates when we see a seedling transform into a tree, a bud bloom into a flower, or a fruit slowly grow/ripen.
Maybe it's hard wired into our brains that this is the cycle of life and that we are part of it.

Or...maybe it's me imagining today how great that grapefruit is going to be in several months- sectioned and drizzled with honey.
I guess hunger wins over philosophy. :)
