Red Currants

Another day in the garden. I started by shedding some of the willow I cut down yesterday but it wasn't working out well as I think the wood was too fresh. I then went down to the vegetable garden and I hadn't planted anything this year but the whole garden was covered in willow herd so I started pulling it out. I managed to get three quarters of it done. These red currants were in the garden when we came here and I haven't really managed to get any of them as the birds usually eat them but this year there are so many I couldn't believe it.  I picked over a kilo of them and there are still plenty left. I think I will make some red currant jelly with them.
