Miracle

About a week ago, my dad was pruning a small tree in the garden. Unwittingly, he disturbed a nest. The bird flew off leaving 4 pale blue eggs behind. He used a few palm fronds and leaves to try to cover the hole that was left. We thought that the eggs would almost certainly die. Then, a few days later, we noticed a bird going in and out of the nest and today....chicks! Four tiny, bald and seemingly very hungry chicks. Sometimes, miracles do happen. :-)
