Not the day for it

When I woke up before 7.00 the sun was shining and by 9.00 it looked as if the team could get on with sowing the grass seed and sorting out the final details of the reconstruction, which has been on hold for ten days because of a spell of wet and miserable weather.

However by 11.00 it was raining and it went on raining all day.  The roller which had been positioned hopefully went unused.

They will try again tomorrow but at least I got a huge amount of the email and paper backlog cleared.
