I awoke at 4am unable to sleep. I could see the pink in the sky between the gap in the curtains so decided to nip outside to take a picture. Wasn't expecting to see this stag and his young friends munching on the silage crop! Amazing to see the loch turned red! Back to bed and read my book until I fell back asleep.

Spent the morning online shopping for some new hiking boots, not an easy task at all. Ordered some hope they fit and live up to their expectations. Should really be looking in shops for these but the likelihood of getting away to do that is highly unlikely. Miserable wet day so stove lit and a good book for the afternoon.
