All over now

I hope nobody finds this weird or offensive, but this is the "alternative" wreath we had for my husband's funeral yesterday.  We wanted something to represent him, as he hated flowers being "wasted".  As Joe was a retired Head Greenkeeper, and a keen golfer my daughter came up with this idea, and the lovely florist made it happen.  It raised a few smiles on a difficult day.  A celebration of a life rather than a sad day.  I was overwhelmed by the number of people who turned up - it helped a great deal.  Joe would have been so pleased..
