Long Time No See

A breezy day but sunny and a warm 19 degrees, although the locals have been finding it a bit chilly :)  

Ended up having a late night out in the city last night!  Met in with some fellow Scots and a long sleep needed this morning!  After breakfast, we met up with my friend Nik.  We walked through the park and caught the ferry and headed to Southbank for a cuppa and catch up.  Enjoyed a ferry trip up and down the river and headed in town for lunch, a walkabout and then a few pints,  before Nik had to head home again.  Off out for dinner but it'll be a quiet night and home early tonight! 

Brilliant to catch up with Nik, been 7 long years since we last met.  Nik left Shetland 8 years ago and now a local to Sunshine Coast.  Best friends always catch up and pick up where we left.  Enjoyed the ferry trip up and down the river, cuppa and fee beers to catch up.  This is us both on the River Brisbane ferry, note me in a tshirt and Nik dressed for winter :)
