The French's fault
We had a leisurely walk along the New Haven beach. The white cliffs have a lot of erosion and a bit of chain slung along to warn you not to got further. The 2 "Little Englanders at the car park entrance, (which had a height barrier up to stop us taking the van in unless we coughed up some coffers), blamed the French and all their rules and regulations. " Come the referendum" was their cry.
Oh dear!
We met a lovely cyclist who chatted and told us on a lovely walk along the more easterly cliffs to see the Seven sisters. So off we trotted. A few miles later and a few meters climbed, (kept away from the eroding cliff edge by yet more "French", (European union actually) rules, saving ones lives, (tsk!) we had a lovely view of the Seven sisters indeed.
After a late bite to eat we headed for the ferry.
Dieppe here we come. ( At least we were very pleased to head to France).
As aye
