The hornet and the moth

Or it could be a Bee and a butterfly?

Looking in the garden today for something to photograph i noticed this 'hornet' (?) making itself busy around my yellow flowers*

Not the easiest photo to take as it was moving fast and was well camouflaged but it turned out OK.
I didn't know the moth was there until I processed the photo, so a bit of a bonus really!

* Sorry, I don't know the name of the yellow flower and am unsure of the name of the 2 insects also.
