Sailing away ...

Mondays have become a nightmare for me because they are just so busy. I hardly sat down for a minute. We had an education department inspection today which went very well. We were praised for our high standards and commitment to education.

We got home late but I was still in time to get a Blip. Son S and I took the dogs down to the boat club for a change. We made ourselves a cup of hot chocolate and drove down on the golf cart. The dogs loved being in a new environment and even ran up and down the jetties!

I was able to take some photos just before the sun disappeared behind the mountains. This beautiful boat was patiently waiting for someone to take it out on the water.

PS. South Africa has its first gold medal at the 2012 Olympics thanks to Cameron van der Burgh's record breaking 100m butterfly win of 58.46 seconds!
