The new miner

Whizzed over to Jess and Nafe's for tea this evening and to pick up Chino following his mini break there.  Good to have him back - he's in the garden right now, checking no cats have been in since he's been away! 

Called by the National Coal Mining Museum, as it's en route, and I'd seen on Facebook photos of 2 new statues there which must have appeared in the last couple weeks as I was only there a few weeks ago.

Awesome so they are.  Two huge miners greeting you at the gates.  
Felt he looked best in mono but I've put the colour as an extra as the sky and clouds were mighty pretty this evening:)
