Bolton Castle

This is another attraction just round the corner from us, so off we went! The weather actually held for us until the moment we got into the car to leave. A bit of provisioning from above there, had quite a bit of that so far!

So much to see here, we struggled to fit it all in! We made it to the top and saw the views which were pretty spectacular. Had an amazing lunch, they have a very talented chef here who runs the restaurant! A remarkably intact place too as you can see, lots of fascinating architecture. They had a nice little garden at the back too as you can see. Also managed to grab a ton of supplies from nearby Leyburn, they actually have a decent shop there! One thing you learn in the Dales is that decent shops are few and far between...
