Off she goes again!

Emma left early in the morning to Lithuania with WU16 national basketball team. IIna's father drove Pyrintö girls to Helsinki, where the team gathered and then traveled to Estonia via a ferry and then had an eight-hour bus ride to a small city called Anykščiai. Girls will have first three days full of practises and then they'll have matches against Belarus and Lithuania teams - those matches sure won't be easy. Basketball is Lithuania's national sport, it's a country where kids grow up shooting for the basket rather than the goal. 


Leevi has a summer job in an aluminium foundry and is working in a night shift this week. Me and hubby visited the Metso library in the evening, where I photographed the map of Lithuania for this blip.
