Tomorrows treat

Another day, another delightful lunch with old friends.  Discussion on the state of the nation continued but with much good humour.  After we shared our attendance at recent cultural events in the capital and slightly beyond, the conclusion is that life is not bad, can be very good and will be excellent. Always hope.

After my extensive social activity over the past few days, my evening stroll around the garden revealed that the weeds are winning.  But also that the strawberries are ripening.  Few will make it to the kitchen.
